The business coaching industry is full of smoke and mirrors. Scroll through Instagram or YouTube and you’ll see the same recycled story: “I built a 7-figure business… and I can teach you how.”
Sounds impressive, right? But here’s the truth: most business coaches are liars. They never show you the full picture — because if they did, you’d realize they’re not as successful as they claim.
Let’s break it down.
The “I built a 7-figure business” line is one of the biggest scams in the industry.
Revenue means nothing without expenses and profit.
Here’s an example from my own experience: one year, I hit $1.3 million in revenue. But I had $900,000 in expenses. That left me with about $400,000 in profit.
Now, $400K profit is fantastic — but notice the transparency. Most coaches would’ve stopped at “7 figures” and never mentioned the $900K it cost to get there.
That’s how they mislead people: by selling the illusion of success, not the reality.
Another dirty secret? A lot of these coaches aren’t even funding their own businesses.
Behind the scenes, they’ve got:
A sugar momma or partner bankrolling their lifestyle.
Family money quietly paying their bills.
Credit lines propping them up while they pretend to be “bootstrapped.”
Then they turn around and claim to be “self-made.” It’s a lie. If your business is only standing because someone else is paying your bills, you’re not an entrepreneur — you’re a fraud in disguise.
Then comes the flexing.
These so-called coaches rent a Lamborghini for the weekend and call it a business expense. They write off vacations, dates, groceries, and even rent as “company costs” — while telling their followers they’re “living the dream.”
Let’s be real: some are literally funding their lives by staring at some old lady’s private parts, calling it ‘networking,’ or pretending their rent is a company expense.
That’s not success. That’s desperation.
Most of the advice they sell isn’t even original.
Funnels, Facebook ads, email lists — all important tools, sure. But these people just recycle the same strategies that have been floating around for years. They slap a shiny new name on it and call it their “proven system.”
If your coach isn’t innovating in real time, you’re just buying old YouTube content with a price tag.
Here’s the difference.
I’ve actually built businesses. SaaS companies. Scaled coaching. Traded markets. Created tax strategies that protect wealth. Helped clients go from $0 to $20K, $40K, even $100K+ months.
And when we make mistakes — whether it’s on my team or because someone’s not the right fit — we stop charging or refund.
There’s not a single client who hasn’t had a fair experience with us. We can’t help everyone, and I’ll be the first to admit that. But you’ll never get ripped off.
That’s what integrity looks like — and it’s missing from 90% of the coaching industry.
So why am I saying all this?
Because I actually know what the fuck I’m talking about. I’ve built it, I’ve lived it, and I’m still doing it.
I’m not here to sell dreams. I’m here to give you the truth.
If you keep chasing fake gurus, you’ll waste years and thousands of dollars on empty promises. If you want hype, go follow them. But if you want results? Stick around — because I don’t sell dreams. I build results.
The bottom line is this:
Most business coaches are liars.
They flex revenue without profit.
They rely on secret funding or personal expenses.
They recycle old strategies and call it innovation.
Meanwhile, I don’t need to pretend. I show the wins, the mistakes, and the reality.
Because truth wins in the long run. And if that makes some people uncomfortable? Good.
